Weather Predicting Rodents

On February second, both Wiarton Willie and Punxsutawney Phil predicted early spring.

Their success rates are 37 and 39 percent respectively.

In a country where groundhogs are routinely shot for being pests, maybe this tradition of inaccurate weather predicting needs to go.

I can’t think of a dumber tradition.
