The Decline (A Poem)

Decline of health

Decline of wealth

Decline of all fucking things else

I Plinko’d down the pegs of life

Hitting wrong ones all in stride

When suddenly I realized

It’s way too late to hit the brakes

Fewer successes than mistakes

Gravity, it can’t be bought

And Gravity cannot be fought

The least known one of all our force

Sends me on my final course

One last thing is on decline

My weekly views (not that I mind)

My viewers have not got the time

To hear me perpetually whine

One cool thing about decline

It sneaks in every vein of life

It takes a man down with his ship

Not that that man even gives a shit

They say I should just flip that frown

But I’m too obsessed with going down
