Solid State (A Poem)

My laptop was making me wait

Spinning wheels and hourglass shapes

Twiddling thumbs I contemplate how

Life with four gigs of RAM is a very sad state

A spinning hard drive is a terrible fate

So my buddy said, “Put in a solid state.”

To Canada Computers we made our way

A quick upgrade later and now I can say

I’m breaking the speed limit

On the superhighway

What a satisfying day
