Crumbs (A Poem)

Production slumps in areas abound

A home run hitter

A manufacturer

A pitcher on the mound

Of words and alternates

Synonymously found

Like a lucky penny

On the ground

Though thoughts aplenty

Through months of winter

Now the drought

Balance sheets of summer

Don’t impress the mentor

An out of cement

Idea cementer

Can’t pave foundations of greatness

Only places for park bench remnants

Crumbs and pigeons all around
